The Syracuse University

Syracuse University is a private research university founded in 1870 in Syracuse, New York. In the last year they are 18.735 students were enrolled in the university. The school is particularly known for its research and teaching in the fields of architecture, entrepreneurship, information science, Communications, Creative Writing and Public Affairs. She was from 1966 to 2011 a member of the Association of American Universities, an existing association of leading research-intensive North American universities who existed since 1900.

The sports team is called the College Syracuse University Orange. Syracuse University is a member of the Big East Conference.
